The Nelson County Landfill will be closed on the following Holidays:
- Christmas Day (we will work on Christmas Eve)
- New Years Day
- Thanksgiving
- Memorial Day
- Labor Day
- 4th July
When any of these 6 holidays occur during Monday-Friday, garbage will follow on a one-day delay. Please note that any and all other holidays will be “business as usual”.
