St. Catherine of Alexandria Academy
The first school was built shortly before 1868. The Sisters of Loretto staffed the school. In the 1900s the Ursaline Sisters of Mount St. Joseph of Owensboro staffed the school.
St. Catherine of Alexandria Academy has been serving the community for over 75 years. They are an accredited school with all certified teachers, and offer the following services:

- Internet in the classrooms

Home of the Mustangs - New Haven School is a rural kindergarten through eighth-grade school located in the City of New Haven in Nelson County, KY. They pride themselves on a building that is rigorous, caring, and defined by the BEST principles: Be Responsible, Ensure Safety, Show Respect, Try Your Hardest. The New Haven School’s faculty and staff members are dedicated to the education of our approximately 390 students.
